As a softball pitcher, you have 2 different ways to finish your pitching motion. The first way that Coach Sam discusses is with your hips square/closed to your target. The second finishing position Sam discusses is hips open/figure 4 position. How you finish is determined by how strong you are, how you land, and how comfortable you are. Find what works for you and stick with it.
